MAPS OF THE GAMBIA

The Gambia is surrounded by it’s neighbouring country Senegal and is named after the river The Gambia which flows into The Atlantic Ocean. The country seems to have folded itself around this river. The Gambia is about 400 km long and the width ranges between 35 and 70 km. Approximately 1.4 million people live in The Gambia of which some 50.000 in the capital Banjul.
