VISIT A FOOTBALL MATCH
Football (soccer) really is the National sport in The Gambia.
Boy Leigh himself is a very keen player and he actually plays at a high level. He even played with the famous Gambian footballer Jatto Ceesay who played in the professional division of the Dutch club Willem II. If possible go ans watch a match. Many matches are played on sand pitches and evrybody comes to watch and cheer for their team. When the home team wins this of course is greatly celebrated.When you are fond of football and/or childeren you simply must pay a visit to Unity for Kids in The Gambia. The childeren love it when visitors pay them a visit. De sporting activities of Unity for Kids can be visited on the weekends in the morning. If you have any old footballshoes, balls or other footballmaterial, everything is more then welcome here and will be put to good use. UNITY for KIDS aims to improve the wellbeing of Gambian children. The foundation now provides sports and financial adoption to help the children have better education, medical care and nutricion.
